The German wine auction based in Trier has a long history. Since 1908, wine merchants and importers from all over the world are gathering once a year in Trier to take a chance on some of the most prestigious classic wines that Germany has to offer.

Traditionally, top producers, especially from Mosel, Ruwer and Saar, would send their best barrels to the auction, that would usually fetch many times the price of other wines from the same grower.

As we rarely get to taste these wines ourselves, we are all the more excited to share them with you.

At this tasting, you will have the opportunity to sample "Versteigerungsweine" and other mature rarities from the likes of Eva Fricke, Peter Jakob Kühn, Wwe. Dr. H. Thanisch, and Egon Müller.
